I’m not here to hype you up. I’m here to help you run a laundromat that actually runs.
I’m Josh. I own multiple laundromats, I’ve hired the team, built the systems, fixed the chaos and yes, I’ve learned a lot of lessons the expensive way. Now I help other owners skip the pain, keep the profit and get their time back.Â
Most laundromat advice is either theory…
or it’s from someone who doesn’t own the problem anymore.
Laundry Advisors exists because too many owners are stuck in the same loop: busy all day, worn out at night and still unsure if the numbers are doing what they should. You don’t need more ideas. You need a plan that survives real life, customers and equipment that picks the worst possible time to break.
If you want a calm, profitable operation, the answer is almost always the same: better systems, cleaner pricing, tighter standards and accountability that doesn’t let you drift.
MY ORIGIN STORY
My path here wasn’t linear, it was personal.
I always wanted to make a difference, I just didn’t know what vehicle I’d use to do it. I started in natural gas working on efficiency systems, but the roller coaster wore me out. Then I moved into estate planning, and I loved helping families protect what mattered… but I wasn’t home enough to enjoy my own. Â
Then my father-in-law told me a story I couldn’t shake: their family doctor left his practice… to own laundromats and car washes. Â
That one story sent me into a deep dive that turned into a full year of research, visiting over 100 laundromats across six states. Â
And once I understood what separates winners from wishful thinkers, I bought my first store and went to work.
What we’ve built (and what we actually help with)
In under three years, I grew from that first store into four profitable laundromats, each with wash and fold plus delivery and a team of 25+ employees. Â
Not by getting lucky, but by getting serious about the unsexy stuff: pricing, staffing, workflow, standards, marketing cadence and leadership.
UNSEXY STUFF:
-
Wash and fold systems: intake, tagging, production flow, QC, packaging, delivery handoff
-
Staffing: hiring standards, training, accountability, and keeping good people
-
Marketing: consistent demand, not random bursts
-
Store experience: retention, reviews, and “customers feel it” upgrades
-
Owner clarity: numbers you can trust, weekly rhythm, fewer surprises
Why I do this (and it’s not because it’s “easy money”)
A lot of people get into laundry because they think it’s easy. I’m in it because I get to watch lives change. Across our stores, thousands of people walk in every month, and we get the chance to serve them with something simple but meaningful: clean laundry and one less problem to carry. Â
Yes, laundromats can create strong financial returns, but the freedom it created for my family, and the impact a well-run store has on a community, that’s the part that never gets old. Â
And I’ve found this to be true: when you do the right thing and treat customers right, the profits tend to follow.
Who we’re for (and who we’re not)
If you want a shortcut, I’m going to disappoint you. If you want a playbook and you’ll execute, we should talk.
We’re a fit if you:
-
Want a laundromat that runs smoother every month, not louder
-
Are willing to install systems and standards, not just collect tips
-
Want to grow revenue and profit without losing your family or your mind
-
Prefer truth over hype, and progress over ego
- You want to be part of a laundromat owners community that gives back
We’re not a fit if you:
-
Want “passive income” but don’t want to manage reality
-
Only want marketing, but refuse to fix operations
-
Want access to everything, but won’t do the work between calls
- Has a "set it and forget it" attitude
